Directions

From Albuquerque International Airport Directly to EMRTC

  1. Follow the Sunport Blvd. exit lane from the Albuquerque International Airport, which leads directly to Interstate 25 (I-25).
  2. Drive south on I-25 for 75 miles.
  3. Take Exit 152 near Escondida. Turn right at the stop sign. The road will take you over a bridge and through security gates that are open from 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. This road leads directly to the EMRTC complex.

From Albuquerque International Airport (through the town of Socorro)

  1. Follow the Sunport Blvd. exit lane from the Albuquerque International Airport, which leads directly to Interstate 25 (I-25).
  2. Drive south on I-25.
  3. Take Exit 150 (labeled "New Mexico Tech"). This exit puts you on California Street. Most of Socorro's motels, restaurants, and gas stations are located on this street.
  4. Drive south on California Street.
  5. Turn right (west) on Bullock Blvd., located at a stoplight. A Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Taco Bell are located at this intersection.
  6. Pass through two intersections (El Camino Real and Leroy Place) with four-way stop signs before entering the New Mexico Tech Campus.
  7. Stay on Bullock Blvd., which curves to the left (south) and becomes Olive Lane.
  8. Turn right (west) onto Canyon Road, located at a four-way stop sign. Drive past the golf course and the campus physical plant, and continue down a long hill.
  9. At the bottom of this hill, turn right where the road branches. Drive north for about half a mile toward the EMRTC building complex, which will be visible ahead.
  10. The EMRTC Business Complex is the large building on the left at the top of the hill.

From El Paso International Airport Directly to EMRTC

  1. After leaving El Paso International Airport, follow the signs to I-10.
  2. Drive west on I-10 toward Las Cruces until you see signs for I-25.
  3. Drive north on I-25 toward Albuquerque.
  4. Take Exit 152 near Escondida. Turn left at the stop sign. The road will take you over a bridge and through security gates that are open from 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. This road leads directly to the EMRTC complex.

From El Paso International Airport to EMRTC through Socorro

  1. After leaving El Paso International Airport, follow the signs to I-10.
  2. Drive west on I-10 toward Las Cruces until you see signs for I-25.
  3. Drive north on I-25 toward Albuquerque for approximately 147 miles.
  4. Take Exit 147 to enter Socorro. Drive north on California Street, the main road through Socorro where most of the restaurants and lodging are located.
  5. At the fifth traffic light, turn left on Bullock Blvd., located at a stoplight. A Kentucky Fried Chicken and a Taco Bell are located at this intersection.
  6. Pass through two intersections (El Camino Real and Leroy Place) with four-way stop signs before entering the New Mexico Tech Campus.
  7. Stay on Bullock Blvd., which curves to the left (south) and becomes Olive Lane.
